El licor italiano, elaborado con hojas de alcachofa (Cynar Scolymus) y enriquecido con una infusión secreta de 13 hierbas y plantas.

Creado por Angelo Dalle Molle, un empresario y filántropo veneciano, Cynar se lanzó en Italia y su receta se ha mantenido intacta desde su creación en 1952. Desde entonces, la marca ha crecido y ahora se distribuye internacionalmente por el Grupo Campari. Cynar se destaca por su color marrón, con reflejos rojizos. Tiene un aroma intenso y su sabor es amargo aunque tiene un toque dulce al final.
